Biography
They moved to Green Valley, Arizona in 1981 from Bloomington, Illinois. In Bloomington she was active as a hospital volunteer, in Girl Scouts and in Church. In Green Valley, Leda golfed at the Country Club of Green Valley and served as Women's Golf Assoc Niners president and on the W.G.A. board for many years. She was also an eager participant in tennis groups. Her love in life was for family, friends, and flowers.

Viewing will be Friday, February 12, 2010 from 12-2 pm at the Kravanya Funeral Home, 875 S. Washington Street, Bunker Hill, IL.

Leda Fahrenkrog, 92, formerly of Carlinville, IL, a resident of Dublin, Ohio the past 5 years, passed away February 5, 2010. Leda was born in Carlinville, Illinois to Herman and Cornelia Bloome. After attending Illinois Business College at Springfield, Illinois, she was employed in Carlinville. There she met Art Fahrenkrog and they were married June 9, 1939.
Survived By
She is survived by son Donald Fahrenkrog and wife Maria, Las Cruces, New Mexico, daughter Janis Price and husband Rick, Columbus, Ohio, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Preceded in Death By
Art, her husband for 63 years, preceded her in death in January 2003.
