Biography
Bernadine spent her early years working side by side with husband Leonard building Bellm Farm Supply which they sold in 1980, then retiring. Bernadine enjoyed traveling; with her family in their pick up camper, with Leonard to foreign countries, and with her friends on their many bus trips. Her four sisters, including twin Geraldine, remained a huge part of her life throughout.
Visitation
Visitation will be held at S.S. Mary and Joseph's Catholic Church in Carlinville on Monday, April 5, 2010 from 10-11 AM.
Funeral
Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM with Fr. Tom Donovan officiating
Burial
Burial will follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Carlinville

Bernadine M. Bellm Stayton, 87, of Carlinville, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Carlinville Area Hospital.
She was born in Carlinville on November 17, 1922 to the late Florence (Bowman) and Barney Schwab. She married Leonard Bellm on July 15, 1944 in Woodward, Oklahoma. After Leonard's passing in 1990 she later married Kay Stayton, who survives. She was a member of S.S. Mary and Joseph's Catholic Church.
Survived By
Surviving are her husband Kay Stayton of Carlinville: two sons, Dennis Bellm of Medford, Oregon and Duane Bellm of Gillespie, Illinois; two daughters, Cathy (Bellm) Rubemeyer of Carlinville and Patricia (Bellm) Fisher of Toledo, Ohio; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; four sisters, twin Geraldine (Schwab) Lange, Mildred (Schwab) Lyerla, Dorothy (Schwab) Woods, and Margaret (Schwab) Moyer.
