Vivian Adaline (Drury) Ferguson, 88, of Gillespie, IL, formerly of Mount Olive, IL and Staunton, IL, died at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 12:22 pm. She was born July 6, 1931, in Alton , IL to Ralph Elery Drury & Adaline T. (Sheff) Drury. She married Bernard C. Ferguson on March 17, 1962 in Alton, IL. He preceded her in death on August 26, 2002. She was a lab tech for Olin Corp, co-owner of Bernie's Tavern in Staunton, admitting clerk for the hospital in Staunton and a clerk for Walmart in Litchfield, IL. Vivian was a member of the Eastern Star of Staunton, IL, Green Oaks Garden Club, former member of Band Parents, Staunton, IL and a former Girl Scout Leader. She is survived by her daughters, Janice (Keith) Paskiewicz of Elgin, IL, Karen King of Mount Olive, IL, grandchildren, Jason (Corey) Paskiewicz of Island Lake, IL, Christopher (Jenna) Long of Kurtistown, HI, Kenneth Long of Chicago, IL, Kathryn Long of Mt. Olive, IL, great-grandchildren, Viviana Long of HI, Catalina Long of HI and several nieces and nephews. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, grandchild, Audrey Long, son in law, Robert “Jim” King and brother, Ralph Drury, Jr. Friends may call on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 2-3pm at the Assembly Church of Staunton, IL. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 3pm at the Assembly Church of Staunton, IL. Memorials are suggested to Macoupin County 4H for Horticulture Programming.
